Indie Craft Caravan -Nashville

Hey everyone, thanks for your interest in the Nashville edition of Indie Craft Caravan. Unfortunately, our Nashville premiere has not generated much interest. I hate to have to make this announcement, but we won't be producing a holiday market this year. We started too late, and were not able to introduce ourselves to enough people in time.

However, we feel that if we continue to network in the community, meet more people, and build relationships with Nashville artisans and DIY fans, perhaps we can pull together a spring show.

I hope you'll continue to follow ICC, and share your comments and ideas.

Chug chug chuggin' along

Hi, thought I'd drop in and catch everyone up on the latest. We are working on securing a location for the show, don't want to announce it yet, not until it's signed, sealed and delivered. I know you understand.


I can tell you that we are looking at the downtown Donelson area, a highly visible location with a lot of drive-by traffic. I think it is a fantastic spot, and I am keeping my fingers crossed that the owners will accept our offer and terms. I'll blog and tweet as soon as I get the news, trust me!

We are always open for suggestions, after all this is our first venture into the Nashville area, even though I grew up in Nashville.  And tell your artsy crafty friends to join  us, I'll be blogging some craft show marketing tips and promo stuff soon. Call for Artists - Indie Craft Caravan Artists' Market

Now accepting applications for booth space at our Indie Craft Caravan Holiday Artisan Market, to be held Saturday, November 19th, 2011 from 10am until 6pm. Indie Craft Caravan is a series of juried artisan/handmade market, held in cities throughout the southeast USA. Booths are 10x10, with some wiggle room. Booths can be shared by two vendors max, please include all info for both artists on a single application. Booth space is $50 (or $80 for two spaces) and we'll have no application fee for our inaugural Nashville event. Full information and application can be found on our blog, link is on the right of the page. Deadline to apply is Friday, October 21st, with notifications going out Sunday, October 23rd.

well... here we are.

First post, new blog.  We are new to Nashville TN, but not new to the handcrafted scene, as both an artisan and an organizer.  I hope you will join us, and come see us this November for the first annual Indie Craft Caravan Holiday Artisan Market.    Looking at locations now, in Donelson primarily, and should have our location finalized within the next week or so.
